Inspired by the poem The Tide Rises, the Tide Falls by American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, installation artist Chi-Yung Wong borrows its description of tides and waves to explore the subtle balance between eternal cycles and the fleeting nature of life. The work is a scenographic installation in which Wong uses delicate threads to symbolize human paths and connections, revealing complex patterns through his sensitive use of light, sound, music, and space.
