Auguries of Innocence — A New Chapter in Contemplative Art by Wong Chi-Yung
Installation artist Wong Chi-Yung announces the launch of Auguries of Innocence, an interactive visual album and the fourth chapter of his long term artistic research into mindfulness, contemplative space, and emotional wellbeing.

Drawing inspiration from William Blake’s poem Auguries of Innocence, Wong reflects on the search for balance and beauty amid conflict and contradiction. This new body of work turns toward a deeply human theme—finding solace in grief through the practice of mindfulness.

Over the past eight years, Wong has explored how contemplative environments can guide individuals toward equanimity. His research investigates whether artistic intervention and mindfulness practice can open pathways to self reflection. This ongoing inquiry has led him to collaborate with artists and scientists across Hong Kong, Europe, and the United States. Each year, Wong concludes his research cycle by creating a new artwork and hosting public talks to share his findings.
